Drunk Roommate smacked his head into the wall of my dining room, and I need something to cover up the hole. This is a first effort, and I need tips.
So I'm doing this. Crooked window will be sorted out soon. Any thoughts, Background ideas?

You want tips on the car or the whole? How big is the whole?
Basically, plaster it. If its really big get some wire mesh (can be bought in a kit with plaster)
On the car for background, all you need is smoke and woman in bikinis fainting.

I'm not going to fill the hole. I'm just going to stick it in a frame and cover the hole up.
I've got that wire mesh stuff sitting around somewhere, but it's probably too small.

Might I suggest the drunk roommate's head? It's the perfect size. :)

Hardware stores are all closed.

go buy an American flag, Walmart usually has 3'x5' flags maybe some thumb tacks too

No walmarts? Walmart has the essentials for exactly such situations. And walmart KNOWS that men have to fix walls before significant others come home and see the whole in the wall.

1. Don't use black highlight lines on dark surfaces.
2. Are you tracing a picture or are you just trying to drawl one?
3. If something looks a bit wonky, just make it look right, original image be damned.
4. Don't include every detail.

Yeah, There are a couple of them around. I could give that a shot, or just hold it off until my Gf leaves again on Wednesday.

I'm using Google Sketchup, Tracing off an image.
Thanks for the tips though!

Do you have any new photos of her to frame? Or taken?
You could always get a print at walgreens (Some print 24 hours a day) and then frame it and cover the whole with that... Double win!

Trace the body lines. Don't just use lines.

Ok, I'll give that a shot. Thanks.

yeah, sorry. I know nothing about whoops or Photoshop. Maybe for a background use something like refection of 80-90's toys with chrome trim, fade blue to a thin white to a tan.
These windows

Haha, I'll try that. Or try to be trendy and put some shit inside of it. Like a Vase or something.
